Chad Back is Managing Partner of Digital Advisory at Sorren, where he leads the firm’s strategy and capabilities around digital transformation, enterprise systems, artificial intelligence, automation, analytics, and technology-enabled operational improvement. He works with middle-market and enterprise organizations to connect business objectives with technology strategy, helping leadership teams evaluate their needs, develop practical transformation roadmaps, and implement systems and processes that support long-term growth. His experience is particularly deep in manufacturing, distribution, construction, and other complex operating environments.
Chad brings a unique perspective to client engagements, having experienced technology transformation from both sides of the table. Earlier in his career, he held global technology and operating leadership roles with international manufacturing and distribution companies before moving into consulting leadership. His experience includes leading hundreds of ERP and CRM transformations, M&A integration, and building and managing consulting practices with responsibility for P&L performance, service delivery, and go-to-market strategy.
Born in Wisconsin, Chad remains a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan and enjoys working outdoors and spending time with his family. Early in his career, his work on ERP implementations took him throughout North America, Europe, and Asia, exposing him to a variety of business cultures, operating models, and leadership approaches that continue to shape how he works with clients today.
