Our History

Sorren’s Washington Street office represents the combined strength of three legacy firms with deep roots in Chicago’s accounting landscape. In 2022, Madison-based KMA merged with BrookWeiner, a firm with over 50 years of service to Chicago’s business community. One year later, KMA joined forces with Schuman Simon + Grodecki (SSG), another well-established local firm known for its client-first philosophy and technical excellence. These strategic partnerships brought together decades of expertise, a shared commitment to small business success, and a united goal: to deliver big-firm capabilities with boutique-level care.
