Our History

Our Atlanta location builds on the entrepreneurial foundation of Acuity, founded in 2004 by Kenji Kuramoto to provide growing businesses with a more modern approach to accounting. Over the years, Acuity expanded from its Atlanta roots into a full-service firm offering bookkeeping, accounting, tax, controller, and CFO support, with a strong focus on innovative entrepreneurs and technology-enabled financial solutions. In 2025, Acuity became part of Sorren, bringing its entrepreneurial mindset and decades of experience into a larger national firm. Today, Sorren’s Atlanta team continues helping business owners simplify their finances, strengthen their financial operations, and make confident decisions, now backed by the broader expertise, capabilities, and resources of a Top 50 firm.

Although our Atlanta location operates as a virtual office, our presence in the Atlanta area remains local and engaged.
